The July SAM Assembly 248 meeting was shared with the local IBM Ring #55 members as magician Bill Wisch came to town to present a lecture for both clubs.
Bill started the night performing Helicopter Cards and things just took off from there. Much of the lecture focused on cards and while some of the effects will require a lot of work to master, there were also some effects that even non-finger-flingers (like me!) could master.
Bill Wisch lectured here in the Phoenix area back in 2019, but it was my first time seeing him live and the evening flew by. Along with the incredible magic he showed (and then explained), he also told some great stories about his experiences learning magic from Slydini.
